Financing the Future: Ecoinvest in action

Brazil is at the forefront of mobilizing capital for sustainable projects through the Eco Invest Program, an initiative by the National Treasury that is part of the Ecological Transformation Plan. Designed to attract private investments both domestically and internationally, Eco Invest combines innovative currency risk mitigation mechanisms, credit lines, and blended finance instruments to reduce risks and enable long-term projects in strategic sectors such as energy transition, bioeconomy, circular economy, and green infrastructure. The panelists will present the program structure and impact, share the international perspective and how Brazil’s experience inspires global solutions, and offering insights into market opportunities, challenges, and strategies to scale responsible investments in Brazil.
